Emergency Department Patient Relations Liaison Per Diem - Varied Weekends

** Internal Workers – Please log into your Workday account to apply ** Huntington Hospital Employee Login Expectations: The Emergency Department (ED) Patient Relations Liaison serves as the primary point of contact for patients and families, providing proactive support, communication, and service recovery throughout the Emergency Department. This role partners closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to remove barriers to care, enhance communication, and create a welcoming, compassionate patient experience while supporting efficient department operations. EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent required. EXPERIENCE / TRAINING: Minimum of three (3) years of prior experience in customer service or related field required. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. Minimum two (2) years in acute care or ED setting preferred. Some experience with EPIC preferred. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: Current Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) issued by American Heart Association preferred. SKILLS: Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service skills. Knowledgeable in key tenants of patient experience and service recovery.
